ADORATION PROGRAMMES RESUMES: WORSHIPERS CHARGED TO EXERCISE THEIR FRANCHISE DURING 2015 ELECTION

On Friday 6th February, 2015 being the first Friday of the month , the programmes of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria commenced as  announced by the Spiritual Director at the close of 2014 Crusade that marked the end of the ministries Friday night programme at Umuchigbo Iji Nike, Enugu.

The commencement of the programme which was attended by an overwhelming crowd was marked by the votive mass of the Holy Spirit Celebrated by the Spiritual Director of the Ministry , Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka with  a host of other priests that attended the programme whom he acknowledged at the beginning of the mass.  At his remarks, Fr. Mbaka said,  “In this votive mass of the holy Spirit, we welcome the whole adorers in Jesus name. My heart is full of joy that today came finally. Our prayer is that God shall fulfill the desires of your hearts. In this mass, we pray for divine healing of all kinds and the power of fruitfulness. We pray for total divine victory in all the battle we are engaged in, we pray for the success of our children. There are those who need miracles, open your hands for God’s blessings. We commit Nigeria to God in this political season that the Holy Spirit shall surprise the entire country by giving us leaders after the heart of God. We commend the adoration ministry into the hands of God that no weapon fashioned against her shall prosper in Jesus name. We pray for your family that God will surprise you with miracles.”

During his word of Exhortation, Fr. Mbaka said, “before I continue with other things, I welcome all the priests here, Fr. Raphael Ani Enugu Diocese; Fr. Charles , Isidore Enyinaya, Umuahia Diocese; Fr. Vincent Nnaike, Enugu Diocese; Fr. Jude and Fr. Marshal, Onitsha and Awka Diocese; Fr. Chinazaekpere C, Enugu; Fr. Chime Onyeka, Okigwe; Fr. Emmanuel, Nsukka; Fr. John Iheanacho, Port-Harcourt; Fr. Geoffrey Ugwueke, Awgu; Fr. Uzo Collins Enugu; Fr Benedith, Enugu; Fr. Matthew from Calabar;  Fr. Benjamin Agbo Abakailiki; Fr. Ezea, Abakaliki; Fr. Uchenna Uzoechi Enugu; the Seminarians and the Reverend sisters we welcome you all.”

Commenting on the state of the nation, Fr. Mbaka said, “Those who are attacking me because of my new year message said that people were angry because the message went to all ends of the earth and that I am the one that is encouraging Buhari. Is Fr Mbaka the INEC? “

Encouraging the worshipers to perform their civic responsibilities , he said  “Anybody who knows that he has not collected his Permanent Voters Card should endeavour to go and collect his or her own. It is not a question of whether you want it or not, go there, the cards are there. When anybody tell you the Card is not there, be bold enough to demand it until you collect yours. Refuse to be intimidated that person there is a human being like you. On the election day, whoever will tell you that he will give you money so that you will vote for whom you don’t want, if you receive such money, it will bring upon you generational poverty. That money is a ritual money, once it enters your hand, they will collect your destiny. You will remain their permanent slave.  Therefore on the Election Day, go and vote according to your conscience. If that person in power is leading you well, gives you good job,  good road and fulfills all the promises he made in his first tenure, vote for him that day, but if since after you finished your studies you have no job, and you want someone that can stop the killings in the North and that the other person could not stop it, you vote for another. Don’t go after you voted, stay there until the vote is counted then take down the result in your unit. People should not deceive you. It is about time we start choosing our leaders by ourselves. Don’t say that you will not go anywhere on the Election Day or that you will stay indoors and be praying. Finish all your prayers before the Election Day and then go and vote. Elections are rigged when those who cast the vote could not stay to guard their votes.”
