Hakuna Matata Enjoins Supporters To Remain Calm

Sequel to the continued party primary exercise  of the All Progressive Congress in Enugu State, a National Assembly aspirant who is a front running contestant for the Nsukka- Igboeze South seat, Hon Barr Ikechukwu Maximus Ugwuoke a.k.a Hakuna, Matata, has told APC party members and his teeming supporters to remain calm and poised so as to exercise their franchise.

Barr Ugwuoke stated this while speaking to his supporters and members of his support group, Hakuna Matata support group as well as APC party faithful ,drawn from all the electoral wards in Nsukka and Igbo Eze South LGA ,at his Eha Alumona country home.

The supporters had gathered to express their anxiety over the outcome of the primaries and to solidarize with Barr Ugwoke as they chanted songs of solidarity and unalloyed support to him and the APC.

The Nsukka-Igboeze South seat is currently being held  by a man from igboeze south now serving out his third term and still intent on recontesting, which ambition the constituents  are opposing  insisting that there existed  a zoning agreement between Nsukka and Igboeze South LGAs over the federal seat and stressed that “fair is fair. It is now Nsukka turn”

Some of the supporters insisted that Barr Ugwuoke is the ideal person to occupy that seat as “he is young, energetic, vibrant, honest lawyer and a prolific writer, author; editor who is well connected. We have no business with reprobate politicians without integrity and principle who would sooner sell the people’s mandate as we are informed they are moles planted by some detractors  to divert our votes” they stated in unison even as they carried and displayed placards some of which reads ‘Barr Ugwuoke is our man’,’Hakuna  Matata ,we are solidly behind you’, ‘Away with mandate sellers’, ‘Victory is assured with Hakuna  Matata”

“ We wonder what a man who got  our mandate and was elected but quickly lost that mandate in very suspicious manner still want from us,let him go and rest with the spoils he got from the sale of our mandate’. ‘Once beaten twice shy” they declared and booed

The supporters urged Barr Ugwuoke to remain resolute and very alert so as to clinch the party ticket and assured him of their prayers and unwavering support

Thanking them for the solidarity rally, Barr Ugwuoke reiterated his commitment to serving the people and ensuring their welfare “ I have told you and I want to repeat it without any fear of contradiction, that  my main aim of seeking your mandate is to do good to the people of this constituency. I want to bring about purposeful, issue-driven and effective representation I want to change the old order of dumb and zero representation. I want to make the Nssuka-Igboeze south voice heard and raised on the floor of the Green chamber of the National Assembly. I want to ensure that our constituency gets its fair share in the Scheme of things” the erudite Lawyer Stated.

Ugwuoke who is an Enugu based lawyer of more than ten years post call doubles also as the Editor in Chief of the upbeat Amen Super news Newspaper of the Adoration Ministry Enugu and is official spokesman of the ministry.

He stated that with his connection with men of very high integrity, in influence and probity in the society “ I cannot afford to let my people down or bring shame to my revered backers who are stakeholders in this enterprise”

He explained that the rescheduling of some of the primaries should not be misconstrued as a negative trend rather “it is aimed at fine -tuning the party’s internal democratic arrangement to ensure that things are done the right way and only credible candidates emerges to fly the party’s flag. It is to our advantage and with God on our side, I will emerge victorious” he stated amidst thunderous ovations, cheers, drumbeats and dancing by the thousands of highly elated supporters.
