MAN KILLS SELF WITH EIGHT CANS OF ENERGY DRINK

Mr. Elijah Nwankwo from Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has allegedly died after drinking eight cans of Bullet Energy drink as a result of a bet.  It was gathered that the victim on the 11th of December 2014 was allegedly engaged in a bet on drinking of Eight cans of energy drink with one Chikwado Nchionu.

Mr Nchionu and the dead Nwankwo were of the bet that any of the two that was able to drink eight cans of bullet energy drink consecutively will be paid the sum of one thousand, six hundred naira (N1,600) only.  It was gathered that the victim after drinking the eight cans as betted became weak and went into comatose and was rushed to the Mother of Christ Hospital Enugu where the Doctor confirmed him dead.  His body is deposited at the hospital morgue pending the necessary actions as the matter has been reported to the police.
