The atmosphere is charged for celebration in Adoration Ministry Worldwide, as Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of the ministry marks 23years of his priestly ordination on the 29th of this month of July 2018.
Fr Mbaka who left the shores of Nigeria for a prayer visit to United States of America about a fortnight ago, returned to Nigeria last Thursday with resounding testimonies of the miracles, signs and wonder which God demonstrated through him in America. The stories of the miracles were heard at everyplace he visited while in America. One of the high points of his visit was the remarkable and deserving Award he received at Washington DC at the United States Congress. Before the Award, Fr Mbaka met with the Chaplain of the United states Congress Chaplain Fr. Patrick J Conroy and participated in the Opening Prayer at the US House of Representatives with Fr Conway, the Chaplain of the US House of Representative. Fr Mbaka also received a special U.S Congress Citation which was presented to him via Congresswoman Karen Bass who has congressional portfolio over Africa Affairs. The citation highlighted Fr Mbaka for Outstanding Humanitarian Services and Awareness in Education, Philanthropy, Humanitarian Services and other Initiatives that Foster Hope and Healing to Individuals Affected by Health and Poverty Disparity. The Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition issued to Fr Mbaka under the seal of U.S House of Representatives and signed by Kren Bass, Member of Congress in clear terms spelt out efforts to raise awareness for Mbaka’s work in support of Education, healthcare, humanitarian services and general assistance for Nigerian in need as part of the presentation.
It was a moment of joy last weekend as the major organs of Adoration Ministry Worldwide comprising of National Adoration Family led Chief Aka Emmanuel, Adoration Fathers’ Association (AFA) led by Chief Godwin Okolo, Adoration Mothers’ Association (AMA) led by Mrs Ann Aligwe and Adoration Youth’s Association led by Comrade Obianyom Chukwuagozie converged to receive and welcome Fr Mbaka on his return to Nigeria from his visit to the United States of America.
Fr Mbaka used the occasion of his reception at the Adoration Ministry Ground Umuchigbo Iji Nike during the Last Friday’s all night Adoration vigil prayers to dedicate the Award to God and to thank God for his journey mercies and for keeping him and the members of the ministry while he was away.
Reacting to the award, Chief Aka Emmaunule said “On behalf of National Adoration family we are happy for Fr Mbaka and thank God that he is being celebrated all over the world today because for the United States to give him such recognition means that he is being celebrated in the world over. We appreciate that and pray that God will take him to a greater height, keep him for us, protect him and give him a longer life. He is a blessing to us”. Mrs Ann Aligwe speaking on behalf of Adoration Mothers said “ We really thank and Praise Almighty God and Adoration Angels for all the awesome miracles and outstanding miracles we have been witnessing in Adoration Ministry. I am not surprised about this award given to our Big Daddy, Rev. Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka deserves more than this because he is the St. Anthony of our own generation but many evil people will never accept it. A prophet is never known or recognized in his home. He will see greater things . This is just the beginning. I wish him more protection and long life so that he will be able to fulfill his mission on earth. I also plead to other men of God to rise up and follow the righteous path to enable us see Heaven at the end of our heavenly race. Fr Mbaka is a genius and so charitable but has been operating in a very silent way. More powers to his elbows”. Comrade Obianyom on behalf of the Adoration youths felicitated with Fr Mbaka and prayed that “God will continue to sustain, provide, bless and favour him as his impact to humanity remains indelible on the sands of history”.
In a Congratulatory statement issued by the Media chief of Adoration Ministry , Barr Ikechukwu Maximus Ugwuoke, to Fr Mbaka he remarked that while some Nigerian have continued to take the free gift of Fr Mbaka to the nation for granted , God has continued and will ever continue to lift him up across the world as a sign and wonder. In the said statement he asserted, “Nigerians are the major beneficiaries of Fr Mbaka Humanitarian Services and Awareness in Education, Philanthropy, Humanitarian Services and other Initiatives that Foster Hope and Healing to Individuals Affected by Health and Poverty Disparity and his general assistance for Nigerian in need. It is ironical that such a credible Government as United States of America, a country Millions of miles away from Nigeria should recognize and honour Fr Mbaka for his good works and virtues here, while greed, jealously and ingratitude continue to becloud the minds of some of those at the helm of affairs of the Nigerian churches and Nigeria Government and preclude them from recognizing Fr Mbaka’s potentials and his free gift to the nation by God who made him a Nigerian.
“The Statement further extended the appreciation of Adoration Ministry worldwide to the Government of United States for their unbiased assessment, considerations, honour and recognition extended to Fr Mbaka and for their hospitality to him during his prayer visit to the Country adding that “God will continue to lift U.S higher for recognizing His handworks and His gifts to His servant, Fr Mbaka.” Describing Fr Mbaka’s recognition as a well deserved honour, Ugwuoke asserted that the magnitude of Fr Mbaka’s charity and the miracles of God through him is unequalled in Nigeria and should be a source of thanksgiving and pride for Nigerians of goodwill many of whom the ministry have continued to receive their goodwill messages to Fr Mbaka for publication in his 23rd anniversary brochure.”
